Beijing: China condemned the United States' recent military aid package to Taiwan on Sunday, stating that the $571 million deal is a severe violation of the "one China principle" and the terms outlined in joint agreements between China and the U.S.

A spokesperson for China's foreign ministry asserted that Beijing would take "all necessary measures" to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that Taiwan represents a "red line" in China-U.S. relations.

China views Taiwan, which operates under a democratic government, as part of its territory, a claim that the Taiwanese government strongly rejects.
