Apple has officially unveiled the next phase of its AI feature rollout under the Apple Intelligence brand. In April, iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 will be launched, as anticipated. These versions will mark the first time the European Union gains access to Apple Intelligence features.
Although it's been a long wait, the time is near. Apple Intelligence will now be available in additional languages, including French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and localized English for Singapore and India.
According to Apple, these new languages will be accessible "in nearly all regions around the world." Apple Intelligence will also debut on the Apple Vision Pro, initially in U.S. English only, "enhancing users' ability to communicate, collaborate, and express themselves in new ways."
Apple intends to keep expanding the Apple Intelligence feature set "in the coming months," which includes "more capabilities for Siri." This statement hints that the AI-enhanced Siri will not be part of the iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 release in April, as previously rumored.
