On February 24, the Church commemorates St. Victorinus. Little is known regarding the life and history of St. Victorinus, but he certainly died in 284 A.D. alongside fellow martyrs. He was a resident of Corinth, Greece, and was banished alongside fellow Christians to Egypt during the persecutions under Emperor Numerian. Victorinus and his companions were exiled in 249 and resided in Egypt. They were apprehended once more during Governor Sabinus's rule, subjected to severe torture, and ultimately put to death in Diospolis.
