After its recent debut in China, the Realme GT 7 is gearing up for its Indian launch. Realme has hinted at the device’s imminent arrival through its official social media channels, emphasizing its powerful gaming performance. The smartphone is officially confirmed to deliver up to six hours of uninterrupted BGMI gameplay at a smooth 120 frames per second. It is also expected to accompany the Realme GT 7 Pro, expanding Realme's gaming-focused lineup in the Indian market.
Realme GT 7: Indian Debut on the Horizon
Realme has announced that the GT 7 will soon be available in India. The device has been co-tested with Krafton, the creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), ensuring an optimized gaming experience. Much like the Realme GT 7 Pro, which launched in India in November 2024, the GT 7 is set to bring a host of gamer-friendly features.
A teaser image shared by the company highlights the phone's ability to sustain 120 fps gameplay in BGMI for up to six hours, a promising sign for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
The Indian version of the Realme GT 7 is anticipated to carry specifications similar to the Chinese model, although minor hardware tweaks are possible, just like the slight variations seen between Chinese and Indian versions of the Realme GT 7 Pro.
Realme GT 7: Key Features (China Variant)
The Chinese variant of the Realme GT 7 boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) OLED display with a blazing 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 6500 nits, a 2,600Hz instant touch sampling rate, full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 4,608Hz PWM dimming feature.
Under the hood, it runs on the cutting-edge 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device comes with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
In terms of cameras, the phone sports a dual rear setup — a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 primary sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 112-degree field of view. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX480 sensor is placed on the front.
To manage heat during intense gaming sessions, the Realme GT 7 is equipped with a 7,700mm² VC cooling chamber featuring Graphene ice-sensing dual-layer cooling technology. It is fueled by a robust 7,200mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired charging, ensuring minimal downtime.
