In light of the current situation surrounding 'Operation Sindoor', a cabinet meeting held today has announced the postponement of all events originally planned for the upcoming fourth anniversary celebrations of the government. These programs, which were set to take place from tomorrow, May 10, 2025, have been rescheduled due to the ongoing security concerns at the border.
Key events including 'Face to Face' programs, where the Chief Minister was set to engage directly with the public at both the state and district levels, as well as the 'Ente Keralam' exhibition and marketing fairs, art performances, and meetings for youth, women, professionals, and cultural groups, will no longer occur as planned. However, the ongoing exhibition and marketing fairs will continue as scheduled, though all associated art programs will be suspended.
The regional review meetings, previously slated to take place, will proceed as planned, unaffected by the changes.
The decision to postpone these anniversary events reflects the heightened tension at the borders, as the government has deemed it necessary to prioritize national security. While the exhibition will remain operational, any artistic or celebratory programs linked to the anniversary will be delayed.
As the nation faces challenges, the government calls on all citizens to unite in support of India’s integrity, sovereignty, and security during these critical times.
