Iran sets three conditions to end war and calls for return to peace

Tehran: Iran has said it is ready to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and return to peace, but only if three key conditions are accepted by its opponents.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Tehran is open to ending the war with the United States and Israel if there are clear guarantees for Iran’s security and rights. The statement comes as fighting and tensions continue to affect several parts of the region.

According to Iranian officials, the first condition is that Iran’s political and national rights must be recognized by the international community. Tehran says it wants acknowledgement of its legitimate role and interests in the region.

The second condition is compensation for the damage and losses caused by the war. Iranian leaders say the country has suffered significant destruction and that those responsible must pay reparations.

The third demand is strong international guarantees that Iran will not face future military attacks. Tehran insists that any peace agreement must include firm assurances that the United States or Israel will not launch new strikes against the country.

Iranian authorities said these steps are necessary to ensure lasting peace and prevent another conflict in the future.
The war began after large scale strikes by the United States and Israel against targets inside Iran in late February. Iran responded with missile and drone attacks, raising fears of a wider regional conflict.

Since then the situation has remained tense across the Middle East. There have been attacks on ships near the Strait of Hormuz and several countries have called for urgent diplomatic talks to prevent further escalation.

International leaders continue to push for negotiations, but there is still no clear agreement on a ceasefire. Analysts say Iran’s conditions could make peace talks difficult, as Washington and Tel Aviv may not accept all the demands.

Despite the challenges, diplomatic efforts are continuing as the international community urges all sides to move toward dialogue and avoid further violence.
