Thiruvananthapuram - The Crime Branch of Kerala Police is to set up a new special task force to investigate financial fraud.
The move will bring in 233 new jobs, 226 executive positions and 7 ministerial posts. The unit will have One IG, 4 SPs, 11 DYSPs, 19 inspectors, 29 SIs, 73 each of SCPOs and CPOs and 16 drivers.
The new task force will look into offences like cheating, financial fraud, making illegal documents and fraudulent activities. The ministry has approved the decision.
