Preparations are complete, CNews Live anniversary celebration begins today evening

Kochi: Today is the second anniversary celebration of CNews Live, which has gained a place in the minds of Malayalees within a short period of time. Preparations for the celebration to be held at the Azizia Convention Center in Padivatta, Kochi have been completed.

The anniversary celebration and award night at 5 pm will be attended by the Governor of Goa Adv. PS Sreedharan Pillai will inaugurate. KCBC Media Commission Chairman and Thalassery Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplani will preside. Kerala state Water Resources Minister Roshi Augustine, Kerala Vision Chairman Praveen Mohan, and CNews Live Chairman Varghese Thomas will extend their greetings.

The souvenir released on the occasion of the second anniversary will be given to Syro-Malabar Media Commission Secretary Fr. Anthony Vadackekara by music director Ousepachan.

On the occasion of the anniversary, those who have made a mark in the public sphere and media sector of Kerala will be honored considering their comprehensive contributions. As part of this, Awards will be presented to Sreekumaran Thambi (lyricist, music director, film director), R. Srikanthan Nair (Managing Director Flowers TV & 24 News), Bhadran Mattel (Film Director) and Dayabai (Social Activist).For Johny Antony (Malayalam Cinema), PU Thomas (Charity), Kuryachan Sarathankunnel (Agriculture), Baby John Kalayanthani (Devotional Song), Benoy Sebastian (Professional), Master Peter Titus (Special Cinema) and Ginto John (Technology) a special award will be given.

The Kalasandhya that follows will feature a musical feast led by playback singers Sudeep Kumar and Chitra Arun and a dance performance by classical dancer Sophia Sudeep.
