In a significant move to enhance the efficiency of its legal system, Dubai has introduced a new initiative titled "Reconciliation is Better". This program aims to resolve disputes swiftly through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, reducing reliance on traditional legal proceedings.
The initiative was officially approved by Dubai's Attorney General, Islam Issa Al Humaidan. He emphasized that ADR mechanisms not only expedite dispute resolution but also strengthen community relationships and promote a culture of tolerance. Al Humaidan highlighted that this approach reflects the Dubai Public Prosecution's long-term vision for excellence in the legal field.
Under the "Reconciliation is Better" program, prosecutors will facilitate fair and lawful settlements between disputing parties. This method serves as a practical alternative to conventional legal procedures, offering a more amicable and efficient resolution process.
By encouraging mutual understanding and agreement, the initiative seeks to alleviate the burden on the judicial system and provide timely justice to the public. It represents a proactive step towards modernizing dispute resolution and fostering a more harmonious society.
