California: In the wake of the devastating floods in Texas that have claimed over 100 lives, Samaritan’s Purse, a global Christian relief organization, has launched extensive aid operations to support affected communities. The organization, led by Franklin Graham, is on the ground providing emergency relief and conducting rescue missions alongside the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Rapid Response Team.
The faith-based teams are not only offering physical assistance but also spiritual comfort, partnering with local churches to reach families in need. Their combined efforts include helping with cleanup, shelter, food distribution, and offering emotional and prayer support to survivors.
“Our hearts go out to the families shattered by this disaster. We must lift them in prayer and stand with the brave men and women tirelessly working in rescue and recovery,” wrote Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse and son of the renowned evangelist Billy Graham, in a heartfelt message on social media.
Known for its rapid and compassionate response to global crises, Samaritan’s Purse continues to embody the spirit of Christian service, stepping into some of the world’s most desperate situations to offer hope, healing, and tangible help.
