UN resolution calls on Russia to end military attack: 141 countries supported;India abstained

New York: United Nations has called on Russia to withdraw military action in Ukraine. India abstained from the resolution. Thirty-five countries, including China and Pakistan joined India. Belarus, Eritrea, North Korea, Syria and Russia opposed the resolution. A total of 141 countries voted against Russia's decision to invade Ukraine.
Russia, meanwhile, has confirmed that 498 of its soldiers were killed in the war. This is Russia's first casualty since the military move. 1597 soldiers wounded. Russia says it has killed 2,870 Ukrainian troops.

There are fears of a possible Russian attack in Kharkiv. Russian troops have been stationed in strategic locations. Meanwhile, curfew has been imposed in Kharkiv. Curfew is from 7pm to 7am local time.
