New Delhi: A confrontation has commenced between security forces and militants in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The clash erupted on Sunday evening when militants initiated gunfire towards the security forces in the Larrow-Parigam vicinity of Pulwama.

The Kashmir Zone Police additionally communicated that the police and security forces are actively engaged in their duties. "An ongoing confrontation is taking place in the Larrow-Parigam area of Pulwama. The police and security forces are diligently performing their roles," the statement conveyed.

As of now, there have been no reported casualties on either side. Earlier during the day, the Kashmir Zone police had announced, "A confrontation has commenced in the Larrow-Parigam area of Pulwama. Both the police and security forces are in action. Further details will be provided," stated the Kashmir Zone Police.
