The prime minister also called for responsible AI governance. He proposed safeguards such as transparent safety frameworks, national control over data, clear labeling of digital content and protections to shield children from harmful uses of artificial intelligence.

India is positioning itself as a major AI hub by leveraging its digital public infrastructure, vast talent pool and affordable technology solutions. The country aims to develop AI domestically and deploy it globally under the vision of developing in India for the world. Efforts are underway to expand computing capacity and build a sovereign and scalable AI ecosystem.

More than 100 countries are represented at the summit, reflecting the growing global focus on AI governance and cooperation. Participants stressed that artificial intelligence should become a trusted global common good that benefits humanity.
