Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George has promised to provide medical services to people from Ukraine through the Green Channel. The Minister said that instructions have been issued to the Health Department and the Health Education Department in this regard.

A special team will be set up to deal with the physical and mental problems of those coming from war places. If necessary, specialist treatment will be provided to them through medical colleges and major government hospitals, he said. Arrangements will be made to monitor their health at four international airports and domestic airports in the state. For this, health desks are being set up at airports. The services of expert doctors will be provided here. He said specialist treatment would be provided to those in need of further treatment as well.
