Dubai - In a heartwarming and joyous gathering at De Montfort University in Academic City, Dubai, the event "Nurses' Day Out" took place on Sunday. Organized by Equityplus Advertising in collaboration with Emirates Malayali Nurses Family (EMNF), the event aimed to acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable contributions of nurses who tirelessly serve the community day in and day out. The occasion witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of over 1,000 nurses, making it a well-deserved celebration for these healthcare heroes.
The event was filled with fun-filled activities, engaging games, and captivating performances by the very nurses being honored, offering them a much-needed break from their demanding and challenging work. This celebration served as a powerful reminder of the significant role these healthcare professionals play in the healthcare ecosystem.
During the "Nurses' Day Out" event, the prestigious Nikai Angel Awards finalists were also revealed. Popular radio personalities, RJ Mithun, and RJ Arfaz from HIT FM made the announcement. The Nikai Angel Awards garnered over 20,000 nominations from three renowned radio stations: HIT FM, CITY FM, and TAG FM, over a 3-week period. The awards campaign aimed to recognize nurses who have gone above and beyond their call of duty. From the numerous nominations received, each radio station carefully selected 50 candidates, and a panel of experts thoroughly evaluated their stories to shortlist the top 15 finalists.
The 15 deserving finalists were felicitated with certificates of appreciation during the event, honoring their unwavering commitment to their profession and the lives they touch every day. Each radio station had outstanding representatives among the finalists, all of whom received well-deserved recognition for their exceptional contributions to healthcare.
Federal Bank also took the opportunity to unveil their new Eve+ Savings Account, focusing on the empowerment and financial freedom of women. Federal Bank's Assistant VP, Aravind Kartikeyan, and Chief Representative Officer, Sherin K Kuriakose, joined hands with the esteemed finalists of the Angel Awards to introduce Federal Bank's new initiative.
