As many as 4 lakh shares changed hands compared with the 20-day average of just 80,000, signaling heightened investor interest and confidence in the wealth management firm.
The stock’s performance marks its fourth consecutive monthly gain, having risen 11.9% in August alone. Year-to-date, Anand Rathi Wealth has delivered an impressive 50% return, reflecting strong market sentiment around the company’s growth prospects and strategic moves.
Anand Rathi Wealth had initially listed on the bourses in December 2021 through an IPO priced at ₹550 per share, raising ₹660 crore. Adjusted for its bonus shares, the stock has surged more than tenfold from its issue price, showcasing a remarkable wealth creation story for investors. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, joint CEO Feroze Azeez noted that the company has internally discussed issuing bonus shares every two to three years, although he emphasized that these discussions are not official guidance. “Every time I give a bonus, I want to give ₹14 dividend on expanded number of shares. That’s the aspiration,” he said, highlighting the company’s commitment to rewarding shareholders.
Anand Rathi Wealth has also undertaken strategic buybacks, including a repurchase in June 2024 where it acquired roughly 0.9% of its outstanding equity at ₹4,450 per share, reflecting confidence in its valuation.
Currently, three analysts cover the stock, with one recommending a “buy” and two maintaining “hold” ratings, indicating a cautiously optimistic outlook among market watchers. Around 12:10 pm on Monday, the stock was trading 4.1% higher at ₹2,909 per share, cementing its position as one of the most actively watched wealth management stocks in the Indian market.
With consistent dividend payouts, bonus issuance, and a track record of strong capital appreciation, Anand Rathi Wealth continues to capture investor attention, driven by both fundamentals and market optimism.
